Adam N McPhee COO

Adam N. McPhee

Founder & Principal

Adam N. McPhee’s two decades of stalwart, goal & team-orientated leadership define him as a C-level executive whose steady guidance, reliability, and unwavering focus result in consistent stability, growth, and progress. Specializing in healthcare services across multi-site, multi-state markets, concentrated in the small to mid-range middle-market CAP ($35M – $110M), Adam is known for his strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and solid patient-first foundation.

His career began in patient care where he applied his bachelor of science in Exercise Physiology to enhance treatment outcomes and foster strong connections with his patients. This foundational experience shaped his patient-first approach and understanding of healthcare facility operations.

Adam transitioned into operations, managing therapeutic rehabilitation centers and demonstrating his ability to drive success through effective team support and patient care excellence. His role evolved at US Healthworks, where he managed centers in Florida and later advanced to Regional Director, then Regional VP. He played a crucial role in US HealthWork’s acquisition growth strategy, leading the creation of the Acquisition Integration Committee and developing a comprehensive integration playbook facilitating over 20 successful acquisitions.

At CleanSlate Centers, Adam was promoted from President, East Division to Chief Operating Officer in early 2019. He led the organization in executing its strategic plan, supported by a talented team. Under this leadership, CleanSlate expanded from 18 centers in 3 states to 79 centers in 10 states in just under three years.

During the pandemic, Adam and his team managed a rapid transition from in-person to fully remote telemedicine within 48 hours. They also decentralized various departments, focused on employee retention and recruitment, and implemented significant system upgrades, including a custom EMR, an overhauled RCM process, and a new unified communications platform.

Following an organizational restructure at end of year 2022, Adam took a short sabbatical before discovering fractional work as a compelling opportunity to leverage his extensive experience and contribute to the growth and success of various organizations.

He recently achieved certification in Lean Six Sigma, green belt and is currently working on the specialized Healthcare green belt.
